Description:
 
The SL6083 is a triple 5 channel laser diode driver that provides controlled currents to two grounded red laser diode and one floating blue laser diode.
The level of output current is determined by current input to RSET, W1SET, W2SET, W3SET and W4SET. Each Channel gain is programmable through serial interface.
Spread spectrum on chip oscillators can provide up to 800MHz  modulation to the output current. Each oscillator frequency, amplitude and spread spectrum can be programmed through serial interface and an external grounded resistor.
LVDS interface can be switched to TTL interface. Each channel current output rise time, fall time and overshoot are also programmable.
The SL6083 requires single 5V supply.
The SL6083 is available in 32-pin 4mm x 4mm QFN package.

1.Triple 5-channel current controlled current output source or sink:
  a.400mA, 200mA, 200mA, 200mA and 100mA max per channel
  b.Total max current to 800mA.
2.Red Laser Rise/Fall time: < 1.0ns
3.Blue Laser Rise/Fall time: < 0.6ns
4.Oscillator frequency is programmable from 200MHz to 800MHz.
5.Oscillator amplitude is programmable from 0mA to 100mA. Red HFM is AC coupled push-pull. Blue HFM is DC coupled pull only architecture.
6.Spread Spectrum technique is used to reduce EMI, both spread width and modulation carrier frequency can be programmed.
7.2ns channel enable and disable time.
8.LVDS interface with external 100ohm termination.
9.Single 5v power supply.
10.Each channel rise/fall time and overshoot can be programmed.
11.Serial port input up to 25Mb/s for chip programming and read back.
12.Each channel gain is programmable.
13.Blue Laser output can sustain 9v floating voltage.
14.Blue low noise read channel.
